I thought I would share with you some
pictures. One of which is Mallie with her first quail.
We took her out for a little while and she flashed pointed then
flushed this quail. We were only out for a little while and
she found three quail and retrieved them. Brittany and I
could not be happier with her especially for being only only 5
months old. Thanks for a great dog.
Steve Temple.
We LOVE River! She is beautiful loving
and smart and is housebroken and doesn't chew, she retrieves and
swims and even sings--and she is so easy to train--it is like a
dream. Keep up the good work. We will keep in touch with
you for our next dog in a couple of years or so. Thanks!

Just wanted to let you know that Cooper continues to
be an awesome pup. He is 11 weeks old now and has been retrieving live and
dead young pheasants for 2 weeks now. He loves to retrieve and works hard
to find the bird in the thick stuff. Very good at using his nose already.
Cooper went swimming for the first time today and within 5 minutes he was
jumping off the dock like an old pro. Thanks again for this dog. I
think he is going to be ready to get me some birds this fall at the rate he has
been learning.
Best of wishes Dave and Shannon Pleoger
Hey guys, I just wanted to drop you a
line and let you know I couldn't be happier with Tanker!
I'm Troy Thompson from Ohio. I bought Tanker from you guys in
Dec. 05
from Drake & Lacey breeding. You sent him to me on a plane to
Cin. Remember? Tanker has been to Iowa pheasant hunting
and ducks and geese here in Ohio. He has about 30 live retrieves
this year. (worst duckseason I can remember in 20 years! It was
50 - 60 degrees all winter andthe ducks never flew south and
stayed up on Lake Erie all year!) I recently joined a hunting
retriever club and plan on taking Tanker as far as he can go!
He has great marking ability and the most intense retrieving
desire I have ever seen in any dog! Not to mention a fantastic
water entry!

Hi Linda and Steve
Just thought I'd drop you a
note to say Happy New Year!
Earl is growing like a weed
(not real sure how much he weighs because our bathroom scale
won't handle him and me at the same time!). He's going to be big
(big already). He must be 70+ lbs already.
Earl is VERY
teachable/biddable. Earl is gentle, happy, obedient (for a
puppy) and a whole lot of fun. His basic obedience (sit, stay,
come, down, heel, "go to your mat", etc.) - very very good! He
loves to please and is a real clown. He is retrieving well
(basically, I try to keep it real fun at this stage - more
serious training down the line). I am very very happy with Earl!
We have about 2 feet of snow on
the ground - real winter this year for us! A big storm is coming
this week.
Best Regards
Tom Grabowski (& Duke of Earl)
Sorry I took so long
to respond. Just didn't check the e-mail at home this week.
It is always bad
luck to brag about your dog, but I have found Delta to be
fantastic. I am a die hard waterfowler, and Delta has performed
tremendously for me for the past two seasons, and she hasn't
even turned 2 yet. I've also started hunting pheasants more
because it is just so much fun to hunt with her. She has a very
strong hunting drive, stamina, and enthusiasm, but she has also
proven to be a very smart and loving family dog. My wife had
never had dogs before and she just loves her- they snuggle every
night watching TV.
I came across Torgs
through the stud they hired, Rex from Pete Fischer's
kennel. However, after checking out their dames I was pretty
impressed.
I guess the best
reference I can give is that my dad (and hunting partner) is
starting to consider starting a dog behind his beloved yello lab
Ginger, and he has told me he intends to go to Torgs because he
is so impressed by my dog. Ginger (9 yrs old) doesn't even do
water retrieves for us anymore because Delta does it all, and
Ginger saves her energy for pheasants and sharptails, her true
loves.
I feel pretty lucky
to have come across Delta.
OK, enough gushing
about my dog. Good luck!

I just returned from a
months pheasant hunt in SD. We shot somewhere
between 60 and 70 birds. The boys (son-in-laws and
grandsons) will continue to hunt.
Anyway, Cinder did a
fantastic job. She was a retrieving machine, trailed
and brought back cripples and has an excellent nose.
She will not quit and just loves it. Has a lot of
stamina and never seemed to tire. She did one trail
on a cripple that was a good 200 yards and when I
last seen the bird it was jumping in the air trying
to fly. She brought it back with the bird looking
around like he was on some sort of ride, never put a
mark on it or any others for that matter.

Easton is doing phenomenal. We are so impressed and extremely attached
to his guy. He is so intelligent and is a comic. He loves kids and we
take him everywhere. He has been to every hockey game, baseball game and
football game around.Kids remember him when we go!! He is an expert
fisherman. I am a teacher so I was off all summer. He spent his days
fishing in the lake. He chases fish from sun up to sun down. In his spare
time he keeps the chipmunks in hiding. We love to watch him fish!! He
loves the ski boat and riding on the 4-wheeler.
The kids have him doing crazy tricks like shake, high five and roll over.
He sticks like glue with the kids. We are sure lucky to have this
wonderful dog. We cannot say enough about his personality!! He is
getting big, but still thinks he is a lap dog.
Jared and Craig have been working hard training him and he was very quick
to get the basics. They took Easton duck hunting this weekend expecting
to take it easy since he is just a pup. Easton retrieved 9 ducks in the past
two days and Craig said that with each retrieve he got better and better.
They are pretty proud!!
We just wanted to tell you what a wonderful family member Easton is and what
a fantastic dog he is. He sure is loved (and spoiled)!!
Thanks so much! Hope to hear from you sometime.
